LITTA WINS CONTRACT WITH WEST LONDON WASTE AUTHORITY TO DELIVER A DIGITAL-FIRST REGIONAL BULKY WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE

London, 6th July 2026 - Litta has been awarded a contract by the West London Waste Authority (WLWA) to deliver bulky material waste collection services for residents.
As Litta's largest public sector engagement to date, this appointment reflects WLWA's ambition to modernise how bulky material collections are delivered and tracked. As Borough services move increasingly towards digital-first services, the contract aims to provide residents with a slicker experience and give the Authority the reporting infrastructure to drive meaningful improvements in service quality and sustainable operational performance.
As residents become more digitally savvy, self-service options can provide users more convenience, collection options and information when it comes to bulky collection services. Litta’s bespoke ‘LittaQuant’ technology platform will support WLWA and its boroughs in this aim to transform how bulky collection services are delivered across the region.
Litta’s platform will also provide a level of data reporting that will help future-proof waste services. As Digital Waste Tracking will soon become a legislative requirement, increased data quality and reporting will be mandatory for tracking waste collection and disposal movements for local Authorities. For WLWA, this means real-time visibility across the entire operation for better waste identification, collection verification, emissions monitoring and disposal end points.
WLWA serves over 1.7 million residents and is committed to increasing reuse and recycling efficiencies, operational transparency and supporting Circular Economy initiatives across the region. The partnership with Litta directly supports those targets and gives WLWA the ability to track impact at a collection, Borough or regional level. Understanding these insights will contribute to WLWA and their borough partners demonstrating measurable progress against wider resource management and circular economy ambitions.
Aaron Georgiou, Founder and CEO of Litta, said:
"Public sector waste authorities are under real pressure to do more, cost less, and hit carbon targets that are getting closer every year. WLWA has chosen a partner that gives them the data and the tools to actually move the dial on all three. We're not just collecting waste across the boroughs. We're giving WLWA a digital backbone they can use to run a better service and prove it."
Roger St Paul - Senior Contracts Manager, West London Waste Authority
“Waste and resource management is an ever-changing landscape that requires committed partners to help us deliver on treating waste as a valuable resource. As a new supplier to our waste management family, we’re looking forward to working closely with Litta over the coming years to drive a digital-led service in support of our regional bulky waste collection service.”
